Revision, Exchange, and Return Policy

 

Customer satisfaction is very important to us! Ultimate Hair Illusions #1 goal is to provide you with a beautiful lace wig which meets our high construction and craftsmanship standards. All of our custom hair units are meticulously inspected prior to being shipped to you to insure that your custom hair unit meets these standards.


We realize that the purchase of a custom hair unit is an investment. Our main goal is customer satisfaction so we have instituted a cancellation, exchange, and return policy to insure that you are ultimately happy with your investment.


Order Revisions:

*All sales are final.* Custom made hair units are designed to fit your specific head measurements and as such we cannot cancel your order or issue a refund. To revise a custom option at no cost (for example, hair color, cap size, etc.) you must complete an Order Revision Request form within 2 days of placing your original custom hair unit order. Revisions are not available for “RUSH Productions”.


Returns:

If you have a problem with your custom hair unit after you receive it please refer to our return policy below:


Return requests must be approved before sending the item back. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.


The custom hair unit must be in the original condition as it was sent to you. If the product(s) have been altered, worn, damaged, or tags/packaging tampered with, products will be ineligible and deemed unauthorized and will be mailed back to you at your expense. Charges required to complete exchanges are made on the credit card submitted in the original order. Balances are issued as store credit. Store credits expire 12 months from date issued. Shipping charges on exchanges are the customer’s responsibility. We ship the same method as in the original order ONLY.

 

Units made from custom templates will only be exchanged when there is a verifiable manufactures defect or unit was not completed according to order specifications. UHI is not responsible for Custom Templates recieved damaged due to either improper customer packing or damage during transit.


Exchanges:

We offer exchanges ONLY when an error is made on the part of Ultimate Hair Illusions and/or its manufacturers. 


The items listed below are ineligible for returns or exchanges:

2.      Accessories

3.      Adhesives

4.      Care Products

5.      Special Order

6.      Sale or Discounted Items

 

Return Merchandise Authorization

Customer must notify us of the desire to do a return within 72 hours of receipt of the custom hair unit by completing the Return Merchandise Authorization form .


To complete the exchange, the customer will be responsible for sending the un-altered, un-damaged custom hair unit back to us in its original packaging. We advise you return the unit with a Signature Delivery Confirmation and Insurance, as we will not be responsible for lost packages. You must include $19.95 with your custom hair unit for shipping of the new exchange unit.


Since a custom unit was specifically made to fit your head size and customizations it may be difficult to resale. For this reason AUTHORIZED RETURNS are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Prior to placing your custom hair unit order, please ensure your measurements are taken correctly as well as to select your desired custom hair unit options (hair color, hair texture, etc.) carefully to avoid mistakes. We encourage you to purchase our Custom Options Kit  which includes samples of hair colors, hair textures, hair density, and lace colors to aid you in creating your custom unit.

Once the request for exchange/return has been approved a credit will be issued for the purchase price of your custom hair unit less a 20% re-stocking fee. This credit can then be used toward the purchase price of a new custom hair unit. The exchange/return restocking fee and added shipping charges are waived if the reason for the exchange/return is due to an error made on the part of Ultimate Hair Illusion and/or its manufacturers.


In some instances custom hair units not authorized for return may be approved for consignment. We charge 35% of the sale price on all consignment sales. A store credit will be issued for the balance.
